people don’t realize that Starbucks will have to double or triple their prices as the dollar continues to crash and that the reason Starbucks has to close is because Americans are too broke to buy quality stuff now that their currency has become the laughing stock of Forex.

I wouldn’t use the word “quality” to describe the overpriced, burnt swill that Starbucks sells.

As someone who actually does drink straight Starbucks coffee (not ‘expresso drinks” made with lots of syrups and cow/soy milk), I can honestly say that Starbucks coffee does taste a bit like burnt ass. I can’t say any other chain we visit is much better (straight coffee seems an afterthought for most chains with ‘coffee’ in the title), but homemade store-bought coffee really does taste better than chain stuff. If I think ahead, I’ll usually make my own coffee to take when we go out shopping, rather than buy a $3.00 cup of burnt ass while my girlfriend drinks a $5.00 coffee milkshake.

I wouldn’t say Starbucks sell “quality stuff” as their coffee tastes like used motor oil.

Point is “Starbuck represents Corporate America”. Companies like starbuck are symbol of american capitalism. Their rise and fall tells the story of American Economy. This is some thing that is to be taken seriously. If america goes into depression.. whole world is in trouble for next decade..

Star Bucks opened too many stores, this was bound to happen. Placing the blame entirely on the economy is just a wee bit inaccurate. It’s called the free market. When people realize they can get equally good beverages for less somewhere else, bye bye Star Bucks.Buried.

It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.
