Forest Management cannot occur in isolation. Explain.?
The earth is an interaction of all living and non-living thing on it. Since animals and plants can move or be moved from one area to another, and the nonliving materials transcend boundaries; what happens in one area will eventually affect thing in other areas. This is the premise of the chaos theory. A slight action in one part of the world could cause a major action in another part. Forest management is really a misnomer. We can manage the forest as far as out technology will let us, but if nature throws us a curve (forest fires, drought, insect infestation, etc.) we are basically power less to manage the situation. We therefore are in a situation trying to contain the damage.

MOSCOW/OSLO, Nov 30 – Former Vimpelcom
Vimpelcom Ltd was formed in early October when shareholders including Norway's Telenor
Telenor and Alfa's telecoms arm Altimo released statements Monday announcing Izosimov's appointment, with Norwegian Jo Lunder, who served as Vimpelcom CEO between April 2001 and October 2003, taking the Chairman's role.
Izosimov left his post as CEO of Vimpelcom in April, when the shareholder dispute was in full swing. [ID:nL2258513]
The new Vimpelcom Ltd will be the biggest emerging markets operator in Europe, Middle East and Africa and will eventually take over Vimpelcom's New York listing.
